Description
Arch shape is the most common shape used in tensile structures, arches look simple yet elegant. Arches can be single sloping or two side sloping in shape. Arches may be formed using a single Round MS pipe or a TRUSS made of several round MS pipes. This shape is most commonly seen in car parks.
Size
Arch shape tensile Structures generally range from 3 m span upto 30 m span. But there is no limitation; it can go beyond this range depending on heaviness and design of the steel structure.
Design
Arch Shape Tensile structures are made of Steel tube arches supported on steel columns and or walls on either of both sides. The edges are both straight or cable edges. These is a series of parallel arches along the length of the structure which are futher tied by steel tubular perlin members. Fabric is designed using the concept of anticlastic curvature, conve along the arch and concave across the arches.
